Internships

The capstone of the Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel Management degree is the International Hospitality Internship that requires students to complete twelve weeks ‘in the field’. Our interns have worked all over the world, from remote mountain-top locations in Vietnam to luxury hotels in the UK. The tourism and hospitality industry is an evolving, global industry that will take you places, both in your career, and personally, as you travel the world and work for some of the most exciting companies in the industry.

There is a lot to learn beyond the classroom when you study tourism and hospitality and there is no greater multicultural learning environment then working in the field, whether you are helping to promote sustainable tourism in Africa, creating a midnight dinner event for guests on the beach in Thailand or serving guests in some of the most starkly beautiful landscapes in the world, these experiences will set the stage for an amazing future.
The internships at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management will give you an unique learning experience that can never take place in a classroom—and we encourage it. Our Internship and Industry Relations Coordinator and industry partners will mentor you every step of the way and together, we will journey to a new understanding of what it means to be a leader in this industry.
Join us on campus. Travel the world. Then change it.
